    Logged In But Top Menu Says Visitor

    After a user logs in, the "Welcome, Username! {Register | Login} appears at the top and directs the user to their dashboard. However, once the user navigates back to the homepage, the top says "Welcome, visitor! {Register | Login} at the top, even after they are already signed in. Once the user clicks to another page, the top shows they are signed in again. It only shows "visitor" on the homepage. I have tried disabling all plugins....
