Multi-sites not the same?

Hey guys,


I've set up a multisite network but settings are different?
My main is PostingBlue.com Singapore
and the new site is PostingBlue.com

But as you can see, things aren't the same (the featured carousel is missing on the main page)

As for the categories, do i need to export/import into the new site.
Is there any way once i create a bigger network with more sites, that i can apply the original settings/categories to all of the new sites at the same time?
