Pagination/ Query_post Issues

I'm still on classipress 3.4 (waiting to upgrade) and ran into the infamous pagination issue I've seen online where it shows page 2,3,4,5,6, etc however when you click on page 2 it shows the url change however it still shows the first page of search results. I saw this http://stylizedweb.com/2008/08/13/qu...ation-problem/ about a fix but as a non tech guru I do not know if this is the correct fit for this theme and if so what php page do I place this code at (index? search results.php? etc?) Any help with this would be appreciated.
