Question about ad counter stats

Where is the counter for the number of views per ad stored? I see a section in the control panel for the number of views per ad, which can be changed manually. When these numbers are changed (and updated) in the control panel, they show up with the changed numbers in the just listed section.

However, when a customer then clicks on their ad, the total page view, and number of page views today don't change like they did in the Just Listed section.

I am just curious as to where the customer's 'Ad Views' page counter stats are stored and if they can be manually changed to match the customer's 'Just Listed' numbers.

This is not a serious issue. I just had someone ask me about the page view stats, how often they were updated and if the numbers could be manipulated manually. I didn't know the answer, so here I am again with another pesty question.
