Question: Email Users Of New Posts
Does anyone know what the best thing to use or how to configure a way to send newly published ads to users to alert them that an ad has been listed they may be interested.
I know that there are a few plug-ins available but the problem I run into is that on my site you have to be registered to view or enter into the home page. I used on plug-in that emailed users of new ads which listed the link at the end of the email. The problem is that the link attempts to take you to that ad but results in a page not found because if they are using their email and click the link they are obviously not logged in to view. Is there a better plug-in or a way to redirect them to the log in then immediately to the ad?
Any suggestions?
