Renaming the Ad categories is not sticking
For the record, this is not similar to this
thread, yet it concerns renaming newly created categories.
I'm running a fresh install of
WP and CP using both in French, I created Main Ad categories and sub categories. ( none of them were using any special French characters)
When I went back to update a sub-category (no special characters involved), it wouldn't save the changes, tried refreshing the page just in case, to no avail, I know for a fact I can do this on CP 3.0.5.2 (old install on a different site) and it would even update across the site without any problems, yet with the latest CP release 3.1.2, Its not happening.
The only way to accomplish this is to delete the original ad category and create a new one with the desired results, but that's not optimal once the site gets pushed and ads are attached to the category.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Maybe its only occuring on foreign language installs?
