Thread: Setting a custom Home Page

Setting a custom Home Page

I have read through a few post but still can't seem to solve this.

I create a page called HOME and set the Reader settings to Static and that works fine.
BUT, now I have 2 menu items called Home. One point to the page I created the other to the original Classipress home screen.
I would my newly created page to be HOME and the original classipress home to become CLASSIFIEDS.

Two things:
1) How do I remove the unwanted Home?
2) How do I set another link to show the original home to display the default "Directory Style" view?
(eg: Home | Classifieds | Contact Us....etc)
