I tried to activate a plug-in and it disabled my site, had to re-do everything
Hi all:
I got my site up and running and was customizing it, until I tried to download a
WP-Auction plug-in and my site crashed. My site URL and
WP-admin URL would no longer work and I kept getting the following error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare widget_wp_auctions() (previously declared in /home2/dailydib/public_html/classifieds/
wp-content/plugins/
wp-auctions/wp_auctions.php:761) in /home2/dailydib/public_html/classifieds/
wp-content/plugins/
wp-auctions/wp_auctions.php on line 761
So I tried to re-install Classipress but it would not work and on the third try i changed the URL name extension and it worked. I have two questions for anyone who may be able to help:
1. Has this ever happened to you and if so were you able to recover your site? And how?
2. I purchased the small biz version of classipress and i would have installed it a total of 3 times due to this error, so does this mean that I only have 2 more installs available? Or would I still be able to use the other 4 that I should have had left?
Thanks for any help
So disappointed,
