Can't Modify Profile...

Hi,
Just installed the latest version of the JobRoller theme and when I want to edit a profile (jobseeker or job poster) I can see and use the fields to modify the profile, however I can't save any changes.

At the bottom of the profile page (where I assume the 'save changes' button would be) I have the following errors...

"Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/etcetc/public_html/...

Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::has_cap() in /home/etcetc/public_html/..."

Any ideas what this could be? Really struggling with this, and it's an essential part of the site too...

Note: When I type in the domain the error is referring to, I got a 404 error. I think this could be because of the 'public_html' part of the URL. Could this be the problem?
