job alert subscription is not subscribed

here is the steps to reproduce -

1) from Job Alerts tab of My Dashboard, chose "subscribe" from drop down.
2) Leave the rest uncheck as to be able to subscribe all.
3) click on "Save" botton

Form submitted and page redirected back to Dashboard tab.

4) go back to Job Alerts Tab and see Alert Status drop down. It is still "Unsubscribed"

Please fix the bug asap. I am using the latest version of Job Roller v1.6.4.

If you can make it "subscribe" by default at the time of user register, it would be better as it is the default in most of the job board.
