Problem with Jobroller child theme on multisite subdirectory install

Hi,

I have installed a Jobroller child theme in a multisite. Everything seems to work well. I can access the site via http://www.mahadum.com/scholarships/ which is expected behaviour. However, I'm not able to access the site via http://www.mahadum.com/scholarships, i.e., by removing the last '/'. I would expect that a user might enter the url without '/' - an acceptable behaviour would be for the user to access the site both via http://www.mahadum.com/scholarships/ and http://www.mahadum.com/scholarships.

BTW, I'm using a sub-directory install. I believe the problem is from the child theme. Any one encountered a similar issue?
