Problems with job packs

I am experincing several problems with Job Packs,

Parts of the words are not translated while every relevant string in the language file is translated,
In which file is this job pack coded so I can manually change this in my child template?

And my second question,
it says 'valid untill -0001' , while I left the field empty when I created the pack.
