How to add a blog on Jobroller theme

Hello,

I try to get the blog page running on a website that I am currently developing for a client. Bu how does this actually works.
I made a news page, attached the blog template to it, searched for the page id and inserted this page id to the preferences for pages in the admin of jobroller in de the wordpress environment, but this it won't work.
I tried to but every time when I click on the news page it directly goes to the homepage.

So please help,
