Imported listings expiration date - can I change it?

I have a question about the imported listings.

It seems like they are automatically set to expire in 30 days (that's what the backend Admin shows), and I don't have an option to change it after the import. All my manually submitted listings have 365 day expiration, and I would like for the imported listings to also be live for a year (ideally with no expiration date).

Is there a file I could edit to change the expiration from 30 to 365 days? I looked at importer.php but I can't see nothing there.

I also read here: http://forums.appthemes.com/will-imp...-expire-31166/ that if you check your database, no listing_duration value is set at all for imported listings. If that is true, then even though my backend Admin shows the expiration date 30 days from the import, maybe those listing will not really expire.

That is actually what I would like to see - my 8000 imported listings that never expire, so I don't have to repeat the import every 30 days!

Has anybody have their imported listings on their site long enough to see what happens?
