vantage theme functions.php file missing closing php tag?

    Hi all,

I'm not sure If this is my mistake for being a php noob or what but I've just downloaded the Vantage theme (both vantage-dev and vantage 1.01 zip archives) and after having a look at the functions.php file in the main theme folder and the child-theme folder I noticed that the <?php tag on the first line isn't closed off anywhere.

Is this supposed to be like this?

I thought that the <?php tag should always be closed off.

Apologies for my ignorance if this isn't the case.

    Kind regards
