New England ONLY job board for Contractors, Consultants, Freelancers, and standard Full Time and Part Time positions.

Site launched about 4-5 weeks ago. Fairly large traffic, but I haven't had any real ROI yet. But I am doing more email marketing now so hopefully that will help.

Agreed - Your IP blocker plugin is limiting international views. I would also like to caution you on the legality on this, it could be seen that you are willfully discriminating against foreigners in not allowing them access to your website. What if an american citizen, living in Australia, wanted to apply for jobs on your website?

I know they're not exactly your target market, but it could have legal ramifications by excluding people that you "think" fall outside of the group you had in mind.

hmm, I can individually select the countries to block which is nice. Mainly Russia, China, and Japan are my major concerns.

But also, note, that the purpose of this site is to keep everything local. So New England Jobs for New England residents. I made this because I was sick of places like Elance.com which you were useless because of so much outsourcing. People posted web design jobs for a complete company website and with a budget of $150! Why? Because someone in Asia is offering to charge only $2/hour... So you really have no chance.

One other thing - See on your main page that there's two call to action buttons (a trial period for employers, and a sign-up section for candidates). The problem is that this is below the fold line (and I've got a decent resolution level) AND that the first thing I see (before I even get to the two call-to-action buttons) is that "Unlimited Jobs for $25"... Initially I was offended, why would someone charge me $25 to apply to jobs when I can do it for free elsewhere: It's only after scrolling down, and reading lotsa text that it became apparent...

Hm, its above my fold. I've heard someone say that too about the jobs. Personally I dont get it, but I guess I just say, Post Unlimited Jobs for $25.
