Great work and support for This plugin

This is a great Child Theme!
I have spent many an hour in the last few days reading and implementing so of the Features and fixes on this forum. In every thread I see great responses from the team and developer! Kudos on that!
There is on thing I was curious about and haven't run across in my sharp learning curve I have encountered and now feel that I OVERCOME!!!
I have already made minor changes and created a custom .css . I am going back now and going line by line and making changes as I see needed. Should I modify the original styles.css and the blue.css and upload them into the custom.css and just delete the first modification .css from the directory or modify the custom .css and upload it back into the custom directory? To be honest I am not completely sure it makes a difference except for maybe keeping everything cleaner.
Again keep up the AWESOME work! I hope to begin learning actually how to write next instead of just modifying. Learning curves again smh.
