Can I change the html scroll box for categories to a regular checkbox group?
The HTML scroll box was a great invention.
However, in the modern browsers, the scroll bar is not visible unless it is being used. This attempt to improve the aesthetic by hiding a function has essentially made the scroll box useless.
Visitors to the site who attempt to use the "Add a Business" form (or in my case, the "Add a Listing" form) will not see all the available categories, and will have no reason to suspect that there are more choices available. Even if they mouse over the scroll box, they will not see a scroll bar unless they deliberately activate it.
Now, I suppose I could add instructions by editing the "Categories (choose unlimited categories)" in the .po file. Perhaps I could have it read,
"Categories (choose unlimited categories) ATTENTION!!!! THERE ARE MORE CATEGORIES THAN WHAT YOU SEE HERE. Just mouse over the list and move your mouse wheel (or run your finger up your 'magic mouse" to see the scroll bar.
I would rather change the scroll box to a regular checkbox group.
Is there an easy way to do that?
