[Vantage] - "checkbox group" in form - no possibility to get as mandatory?

Hi

I tried a lot over several hours but now I´m lost:
I want to get any checkbox-group-field in the forms as a mandatory field. But I can´t. It seems to be a bug because other fields can be set as mandatory.

I use:
vantage 1.1.4, WP 3.5.1, all plugins disabled

I tried:
- deleted cache
- build a new form
- deleted old forms
- disabled plugins

Can anybody help me?
