Enabling Edit Categories

I've read a closed thread about users being unable to Edit Listing Categories (it's grayed out). AppThemes official answer is "this is the normal behaviour, we don't want users who had free categories to switch to paid categories" and "people can contact Administrator to do it".

Well, in my case I want them to be able to change categories themselves and I'm sure I'm not the only one. And I don't want them to contact me every single time.

So could someone please help me find a way to enable users to edit categories on the front end?

And @AppThemes: this should be an option in settings to lock or unlock this feature. And if someone wants to select a paid category in Edit Listing, well the system should make them pay and accept.
