Help, moved url from subdirectory to root and search function doesn't work

I hope someone can help with this. I installed Wordpress and did all my development in a subdirectory. Once ready to release the site, I changed the address (not the files) to the root:

In Wordpress Settings -> General:

I left WordPress Address (URL) at http://hvac-connect.com/connect

And changed Site Address (URL) to http://hvac-connect.com

I got everything to work great.... everything except the Vantage search function that doesn't work anymore.

For instance, before that change I could search for Contractors near New York and get results.

Now I get the URL http://hvac-connect.com/?st=listing&...ion=New%20York
Which loads the homepage???

I tried to manually change the URL to http://hvac-connect.com/connect?st=l...ion=New%20York
... just to see if that would work. Now it loads the search page but no results

Have someone been through this already? Can anybody help?
