How really to deal with Language!!!

Hi,

I am investigation how i can deal best with multi-lingual issues.... I have found the plugin transposh and its pretty cool...
Problem is that it can only do translation for front-end of the site.

Offcourse the back-end also needs to be translated, including categories, widgets but also fields like address...

why do i want this? let me explain...

I run a website for the greek marlket, but most visitors will be from abroad...

The major problem is the location...

For example.... A shop is located in Heraklion Crete. The subscriber who is greek will put the address in greek language meanin he will type ηράκλειο

Here will arise the problem, because a english or dutch person will type heraklion.... When he does this.. the listing will not be found.......

What could be a sollution to solve this problem.......
