Search not working

Vantage Search not working.

Here is the site I am developing/testing. It uses the Colorful subtheme with Vantage

I have two test listings so far (a computer forensics firm in Walnut and an Accounting firm in Los Angeles) but when the search is done the user simply is returned to the static home (categories) page.

EDIT: BTW I have narrowed this down to the fact that the site uses the plugin User Access Control, but it would seem that it is not simply an access control problem because even the administrators don't see the results page.
