Vantage: Step-by-Step Instructions for Importing ALL the Data You Need
This is the First Draft of a document with Step-by-Step Instructions for Importing ALL the Data You Need in Vantage. I am a user, and I have prepared this as an aid to other users. I also hope AppThemes can use it to show folks how Vantage is BY FAR the best Database Theme for WordPress.
I am sending this First Draft to AppThemes so they can tell me if it will be helpful to them if I complete it, add links and illustrations.
One of my websites will have 100,000 Listings with over 60 custom fields. See http://nationalregisterofhistoricpla...gion-post-199/ The site is in the process of this re-do, so I haven't pulled the trigger on the full import yet.
I hope the next enhancement AppThemes will make is to add Tabs for the Custom Fields. Some other themes have this. It is a far better way to organize the information so users look at just what's important to them.
Let's all work together to get Vantage recognized as THE BEST database theme for WordPress.
