Country - Estate - URGENT PLEASE

Hi..
I wonder what I should do to get the State field is not required, or that it is filled with the correct states of the countries that my site will work

I get signatures from 3 or 5 countries, and read only states and have to choose one, it is very bad for people from another country.

You can change to textbox and each member write her State

I changed mine to textbox, but seems like something is missing. I don't quite sure what that is exactly.

wfraga18 did you solve your problem? In order to edit the values of the state field you have to go to "custom fields" menu and then edit the field State. There you will see the values and you can edit them. If you need to delete you have to create a new form from the "form layouts"=>"Add new". There you can delete the State field.

I have the same problem, but it seems to be impossible to change the field to a textbox ...

You cannot change the pre built field 'State' to textbox.You will have to create a new one.

@dimitris: Thank you, i changed the 'state' field to 'country' and the country field to 'kind of ad' with the options 'for sale', 'looking for', 'to swap', ... (in german). And this is ok for me
