Extra Feilds to the Registration process.

Hi, I sure I not the only one getting a little bored by false user and spam registrations.

I would like to add some extra fields to the registration process so when a new user registers, they have to register with thier Name and address. (otherwise they don't get in.), tried lots of different anit-spam plugins, but they still get through.

If someone wants to use our site, then I would like them to use it as who they and NOT hiding behind a user name and no address.

Can some here please help me as to how to go about this and what code to change ?

Have you checked out any registration plugins? For example, this one includes profile fields at signup, and this one blocks known spammers.

I don't think Pie register works with the latest version of Classipress (Correct me if I'm wrong).

I just installed the plugin and the changes do not reflect on the site. I read somewhere that classipress uses a different login page than the original wordpress.. So maybe this is why it's not working for me.

Anyone was able to make it work ?
