How to Limit Blog Post Number in Blog first Page

Hello:

I have installed Multiport child theme few days ago.

I would like to ask how to set to show just the last 5/6 post review in blog's first page, and after click on the any 'continue reading' it will show the full post.

Currently my blog's first page is taking time to loading, because its show almost all the POST in review mode.

Kindly help me please.
