Thread: What is "Rep Power"?

What is "Rep Power"?

I see "Rep Power" referred to next to peoples usernames and icons - but I have no idea what this means.

Can someone clue me in?

No problem, from what I understand, the "Rep power" (Reputation Power) is linked to the number of posts and "thanks" you get from other members of the forums.. The higher these numbers are, the higher the Rep power is.. I guess it's a way to encourage people to help each other and use the "thanks" button so others can see at a glance if someone has a reputation for being a helpful member of the community.

I thought it might be something like that but I figured I would ask.
