WP 313 Update

Someone just tried to post an ad to my site and I received 4 email messages saying "WordPress Firewall has detected and blocked a potential attack!" It occurred on the add-new page. I could see from the message that the person was just trying to load an ad, nothing more sinister. The message said that "This may be a "Field Truncation Attack."

So I went to wp-admin, general, firewall and at the top of the page there were a number of options that were checked. I don't really understand what they are, but I unchecked all of them except the Block Executable File Uploads. I'm not sure what I've done, don't even know if it's worked yet as my ip address is allowed so I can't check it here.

Can anyone tell me what those settings should be in order that people can post an ad? I need people to be able to put website addresses in, upload images, link to video. What do I need to do?

This is generated by the WordPress Firewall plugin, correct? AppThemes doesn't officially support third party plugins, and I suspect it has more to do with your setup, than any specific issues between WP and CP. Have you tried checking the plugin author's page for issues with compatibility with the latest WP?

I forgot I had the Firewall plugin installed! I thought, as the WP update was about security, that they had added it themselves. Right, thanks for that.
