Hi consignor. Yes, it's perfectly legal. You should first familiarise yourself with the requirements of
eBay Partner Network and checkout eBay's
Developer API's (used by Auction2Post & Auction2Press) to gain a better understanding.
The original
Auction2Post plugin has been around almost since the first Classipress version came onto the scene. Here is one such site running Classipress v 2.9.3 and using the original Auction2post plugin -
http://beetleclassic.com/ . This plugin also works with many other wordpress themes...some requiring mods...some that work with the plugin straight out of the box.
My modified plugin (Auction2Press) has been developed specifically for the latest Classipress version and incorporates a Priceloader script which enables Auction prices to be updated on a regular basis.....a feature which the original auction2post doesn't have. The plugin comes with several modified theme files in order for Auction2Press to work correctly with Classipress 3.2. A basic child-theme is also included. My mods enable you to have the choice of either running a site only populated by eBay ads or with both private Classifieds and eBay ads running concurrently.
In order to obtain my modded plugin and theme mods, you'll need to purchase the original auction2post plugin to obtain the required licence. I'm prepared to provide
Auction2Press free of charge to anyone provided they purchase
auction2post via my
affiliate link.
Feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
Cheers
