Populate Longitude and Latitude of google maps location from Custom Fields

Original thread Job Location when importing jobs form xml:

"I am retrieving jobs from a partner via XML feeds and need to automatically populate the google map location field. I managed to map location from the feed to custom fields (geo_address, geo_country, etc) and those are save also, but for google maps it displays anywhere. When we try to edit the job, location will show in custom fields, short address and and short_add_country, etc.. but google maps shows only anywhere.
Here if we edit or update this job in admin panel, then custom filed values are wiped out.

please suggest the correct custom field or method to map external feed's location with jobroller location field."
