    Re: Featured Listings Sidebar Widget

Hi Seth, just curious about the next version and wondering if there will be an option for the posts to scroll vertically in the sidebar? In addition, will it be viewable pretty much sitewide, or just the homepage?

    Thank you

I'm working on the "verticle carousel" with V. Its a widget, so you can place it onto any or all sidebars in any configuration per sidebar that you want.

Ok, I kicked my *** tonight to get an update out. I probably should have been sleeping, and now I'm gonna be hurting during tomorrows work, but I wanted to push out the new features ASAP to make this plugin more usable.

    Significant improvements:
    Version 1.0.2
    - Adding the ability to "include" only certain categories OR exclude only certain categories.
    - Added the ability to turn on or off thumbnails for the
    - Added the option to set the number of posts listed

I am loving this plugin, thank you!

However, I wonder if it is possible to display the ad's prices on the right side of the ad title?

Funny, something so simple that I completely forgot to do. I'll include it in the next release.

PLEASE register at wordpress.org and vote for my plugin if you like it. It's free and the only thing I'm asking for right now in exchange for the plugin.

    Re: Featured Listings Sidebar Widget

Hi Seth, when you have a moment would you please take a quick look at your widget on my site http://www.texasclassifieds.us and let me know how I might be able to accomplish the following.

I would like the hyperlinked text to display to the right of the image just like on your demo site below rather than underneath my images as they currently are.

    http://cpmodlite.smwphosting.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thank you for your time and suggestions.

I did go the first day you sent this and see what you were saying but now its down. My guess is that some CSS is effecting the float of the image because by default it works, but if you are modifying the CSS on the page for images and how they float, then you may be effecting these thumbnails. If you want to either leave it up or give me an admin username and password, then I can look into the CSS and see why its happening.

Hi Seth, thank you for having a look and offering to help further. I have decided to not use the plugin at this time. I wish you the best with it going forward.

    Take care,
