    Childtheme for /includes folder

There are some changes I want to make to some of the .php files in the /includes directory.

I have created a directory in the classipress-childtheme
    /includes

as well as trying to just leave the .php files in the root childtheme directory.

Take the file views.php for example. I would like to change some of the wording. however the changes only seem to appear when i overwrite the file in the classipress/includes directory and nothing happens in the childtheme directories.

Is there any other way around this other than completely changing the core files?
