    Question Problem with child-theme not loading "includes" folder files

    Hi, I have a child-theme and all my editing on any "includes" folder files are not affecting my child theme. For example, if I copy the core.php files from my main vantage on my desktop into my child-theme via FTP, then edit the core.php, there are no changes on my child-theme.

    However If i go into my main vantage theme via FTP and edit the core.php there, the changes affect my child-theme.

    How do I make it so my change to core.php in my child-theme folder will affect my child-theme (so I don't have to change my main Vantage files in order to edit my child-theme)?

    This also applies to all files in the "includes" folder.
