    Media Library shows as empty when I want to add an image

    I am trying to add images to my categories but when I go into edit category and click 'select image' it brings up the insert media window and shows the Media Library as empty. I have already added all the media in there. If I go to 'upload files' I can do it that way, but then I end up with duplicate copies of the same media in my media library. I have several sub categories to each main category and want to use the same image, but this way, I will end up having to upload them every time and then I will have 7 copies of the same image in my library.

    Is there something I am missing?
