translating ClassiPress in a Multisite installation

Have any of you successfully translated ClassiPress in a WordPress multisite installation (as opposed to a standard/single-site installation)? AppThemes advertises that ClassiPress supports WordPress multisite, and that it supports translation via .mo files, but does not address whether it supports both together (i.e. multisite and translation via .mo files, at the same time).

For example, suppose I have 3 sub-sites: example.com/site1, example.com/site2, example.com/site3; and they are all running ClassiPress; and I want to change the "Post an Ad" button text on all of the sites to "Post my Ad" (and then translate about 50 other strings once I have that working).
