    why need version check?

    Hi.

    I did a GT Metrix test for my site.
    The Waterfall Chart shows that it makes a final request for :
    GET mysitename https://mysitename/?ver=1.4.1

    How do I cancel/delete this last request as it is making the load speed 2x what is needed?

    Please help.
