ClassiPress User Notifications & Preference settings

Hi,

Can someone please answer or provide a link with more information on the following;

I know that Classipress is easily interfaced with a facebook account, through which notifications of new listings etc can be sent to the facebook page than onto people that subscribe to that page. Disregarding the existance of a facebook account, can classipress perform the following two features;

1. Can a user of a ClassiPress website set up search preferences i.e. if the website was advertising cars for sale & a user was only interested in red cars, can they save that search preference so that next time they visit the page it automatically displays only red cars?

2. Can a user of a ClassiPress website set up email notifications for 'newly posted' listings that match their search preference criteria?

There is no built in Facebook functionality in ClassiPress, however you can find some options on the recommended plugins page which will allow login and sharing capability.

1. This is not a default feature of the theme and would require customization on your part if you were looking to implement this.

2. Customers can subscribe to the relevant category RSS feed if they do wish to be notified of new listings for that category. Thanks.
