    Question Upgrade from 3.0.5 to 3.1.6 not working

    Was working on upgrading the theme
    Followed the guide

    First install result...
    the classipress folder already there so could not install
    Renamed the old classipress folder as classipress3.0.5

    Second install result...
    installed the theme
    no updates on taken or changed from old theme after install as opposed to what was said in guide
    reset permalinks

    Problems:

    Featured lists not showing
    Ads worked but there is a loading item on the right side probably the google map
    Some ads are not working

    Reverted to classipress 3.0.5 to make the site work again

    What did I do wrong?

    Can someone give me a better guide?
