Widgets still not working in French Pack

I tried again to install the French pack to classipress (after several attempts early on) on a different URL and following the instructions on the site for the installation of a language pack.

I am still getting the same problem- ie the widgets are not working! I am unable to drag them to the sidebar and activate them! What am I to do? I want the theme working in French. there are loads of French application outhere ... how did you get it working?
