Slow loading Jobroller site

Noticed my Jobroller site loading very, very, very slowly earlier this morning and have spent that past couple of hours disabling plugins, turning off child theme, etc. etc. All to no avail.
I noticed the status bar in the browser (tested using IE, Chrome, FF all with same result) hanging on the message "connected to google.com..." and started to assume the issue is with Google Maps?
Am seeing the same problem on both the main index listing page (
http://www.jobpro.co.za) and on individual listings (eg:
http://www.jobpro.co.za/jobs/payroll-clerk-2/).
Came here to see if there is anyway to disable Google Mapping but find there isnt. Also thought to have a look at a couple of other sites while I was here and randomly checked
http://www.working-gamer.co.uk/ and
http://www.elocriativo.com/jobs/web-developer-mf/ both are experiencing the same issue I am with Jobpro - very, very slow to load. (In fact the Elo Criativo page is still stuck as I type this, and I loaded it before I started a good couple of minutes ago.)
Anyone with any thoughts please share.
