Cant translate events

I am trying for more than 17 hours now to translate the events on vantage theme, I have translated whole pot file today but I still can not get events to be translated in turkish. And oh yeaH I am new around so please help with step by step list. And one more thing: Yes I have read everything on this forum about my problem. Hope to hear from someone soon. And other thing that turkish language update version 1.1 is not even changing the language of the site. Only the older one works.
