Please check my site before i go online!

Hi all,

Do you know that feeling? You don't see the forest because there are too much trees? Well, thats how i feel at the moment!

I'm trying to setup my site and get it ready to bring it online for my area. I'm sure that i forgot a lot of things, but i don't know what. So why don't we help each other a bit and check our sites as beta testers.

If some of you could take a look and check out what should be in or what is missing, i would really appreciate it. And i will do the same service when you need this help. We are community!

I got my "Block Specific Countries" modification installed. So if you are not located in Cyprus it will give you a message when trying to post an ad. If someone is willed to check the uploading of an ad, please let me know and i switch it off.

And maybe some feedback about the general looking and usability?

And don't worry, i can handle criticism (is that the right word?)

BTW. I just found out that i forgot to set "phone number" in the listings... That's what i mean with "too much trees in the forest"

I will start with a sentence that I really like this clean (and still detailed) and straight forward design.

But:

Problem #1 isn't connected with your design but with a design:


-> you don't own cydeal.com

* you will loose part of the traffic just because some people will type the address in straight away
* potential regular customers after visiting the search engine will think that the site is dead
* it will kill your credibility

the worst scenario: cydeal.com lets you to develop traffic, social media appearance and backlinks, and after some time through the court will get your domain free of charge and maybe will even get some cash FROM YOU.

ok, 1 bit about the colours - I hate this yellow colour in the field of featured ads and gradient in ads field - it looks like a piss (see the screenshot):

Otherwise - Super duper design, especially love the detail of crowns for featured ads!

thanks helmuc for your opinion. I know that it's a little risk to use the domain with a - (minus) between. I will see what this guy will do in the future and then i react.

About the piss yellow

I added a bigger slider so the yellow background fields in the slider are gone now. I ask some people about the gradients and they all said that it looks ok. So i guess i will leave it. I tested allready green and orange, but it looked worst.

Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to look into.
